Jason Gray

Jason has in-depth experience in solar energy development and finance that he gained through his role as Vice President – SunEdison. In this role, Jason oversaw all development, project finance, regulatory, construction, and operation activities for SunEdison’s Canadian division. Under Jason’s leadership, SunEdison developed, financed, and constructed Canada’s first utility scale solar project; completed over 350MWs in project development and module sales; and opened a 110MW module manufacturing facility in Canada.

Prior to SunEdison, Jason worked at MNP Consulting where he represented the Klahoose First Nation in royalty and impact benefits negotiations on Alterra’s 196MW hydro project and played a lead role in the firm’s Supply-Chain Practice. He has also held senior roles with Cargill Inc. Jason holds an MBA from the University of Calgary.
